Razer Naga vs Logitech G600

Thread Starter
At the moment I have a screwy naga that loves to lock in either horizontal or vertical and it is realllly annoying me. I have to lift the mouse up to make it work again. Because of this I want to get a new mouse for Christmas... What can you guys tell me about the G600? Is it all plastic and feels like it will break? cause the naga feels like that and it annoys me.. a lot. thanks in advance!

never tried the naga but tried the g600 for about 3 weeks,

I loved the idea of it and I really loved it for a little bit (omg the buttons biggrin.gif) but my hand just does not like it at all.

disclaimer: i'm not a palm griper so its my fault i'm pretty much a claw griper with a bit of finger tip action when things get serious and its pretty heavy for me (thumb and picky not strong enough tongue.gif) and its big, i've been trying to learn how to palm/claw it but it's not working for me, to the point of causing quite a bit of pain in the wrist and pinky/knockle which i've never had before.

man I wish I could use it but I figure if I can't get it in three weeks then it's just not right for my hand mad.gif

I had a Naga for almost 2 years before the double clicking set in. I bought a G600, M90, and another Naga.

So far, the M90 went back almost immediately. The side buttons are a chore to press. The G600 is comfortable to play with BUT it is hard to pick up and move especially compared to the naga. The LOD is also higher than my Naga. The third button doesn't click that well, it is more mushy than clicky although I didn't experience that with my first (had to RMA the first G600). There are two big weights inside the top part of the G600 that you can remove and though its lighter, it's still bothersome to lift off. The main issue with the mouse is the slight mouse delay. You can feel it easily enough but its real bad in CS Go. I didn't try it in other FPS games. The G600 is a mouse I really wanted to like. More than anything. I still haven't pulled the trigger on returning it because I'm trying to talk myself into keeping it.

The Naga is nice though. It's fast and responsive, the numpad takes a bit longer to get used to than the G600 but I can fly around it easily. The side buttons also have a nice click feedback where the G600 just mushes. The Naga Mouse 1 and 2 also have a nicer responsive click. The downside is that the Naga is known to have a double click issue. Usually when people report it, they say about a year. Mine made it a year and a half. TBH, it ****** me off when it happened and I vowed to never buy another Naga, but even after 4 weeks with the G600, the Naga still feels better.

See, I have a naga. So i know what you are talking about. It's just the laser in it is screwy and locks into horizontal or vertical so i can never look around in FPS games or move my mouse cursor when needed.. I'm talking to razer support about it and all I get is that i should update my firmware... when i have done that a billion times. i like the naga but it has so many problems and feels like its gonna break every time i touch it since it's weak plastic.

These are my two favorite mice. Both work fine for me so I can't comment on outright malfunctions.

The Naga is a better shape (still too big though), but I absolutely adore having the third primary button, and the profile software on the G600 works great, and it's high DPI tongue.gif so that's another positive.

Technically, I prefer the LOD, tracking, and Z-axis issues of the TwinEye in the Naga to the slight negative acceleration on the adns-9800 in the G600, but since it's really a no-win situation I'm sticking with the G600 for all its beautiful buttons.
I don't have any problems with the third primary button, it clicks the same as the others. The number pad on the G600 has much lighter actuation force than the Naga, and arguably is better shaped.

Build quality seems better on the Naga, it sounds like there's a tiny bit of flex in the frame of the G600.
