Geforce 7600 GS fan..

Thread Starter
I have a Geforce 7600 GS right now in my computer and the fan on it is extremely noisey, from when i start the computer and then when it shuts off. Is this normal? or is there something wrong with the card..
It is probably the noisiest part of my computer..

been going on for about 2-3 weeks now and i have seen a slight decrease in temperature and performance in the card since then

Most of the 7600GS don't have a fan....

Get a Zalman fan. If your card is AGP you'll need to make a custom heatsink for the HSI bridge.

Zalman VF900

There is no need to get a zalman for this card, you can't even oc it much....
I would just get a passive cooler like coolviva from CoolerMaster , or something like that!

Use Rivatool (***, I forgot what was it called) and lower the fan speed.
EDIT: I mean RivaTuner

A fan for a 7600GS is a waste....
Mine runs cool at 45º!
I sugest you to get a cooler like CoolerMAster coolviva, you can turn the fan off.
