Wow, dont quote me on this but from what I've seen it looks like SimCity implements multiplayer seamlessly onto one, providing the player the opportunity to invite in friends to build their own cities which can work together with your own, providing you access to facilities such as Firemen, Police departments and more!

I've always thought that Sim City should be made multiplayer...Though I think I would go for more of a competitive game play than a cooperative style. Like be in competition to get people to want to live in your city over theirs...quality of life, jobs, amenities...stuff like that.

Perhaps even get really evil and have ways to launch disasters against your opponent. Drop alien bait in the middle of their town to get the aliens to come attack it or something...or invent an earthquake machine.
