HD 6850 Weird behavior in games

Hello guys smile.gif I experience some weird ***** with my GPU.(or more like rig as a whole). When playing bf3 at medium with vsync off i get around 70-80 frames and sometimes dips in the 60's but the game just doesn't feel that smooth... Video Check this video. This guy has vsync off but his game feels really smooth. In my case, the game fells really choppy. The problems dissapears when i have Vsync ON.The the game starts playing buttery smooth but my gpu isn't always at 99% so in some really freaking intense fights i get under 60fps because at average my gpu is around 75-80% for maintaining 60fps and it needs it's time for going up to max usage to go back to 60fps.Is there anything i could do to make my gameplay not fell choppy but fell like i have vsync on,but instead with having vsync off?

OK,

I read that but struggled a bit to be honest. Now what drivers are you using, you should be on the 12.11 beta drivers. In addition to that, you're on a mechanical drive, this can and will, cause choppyness in gaming as it's reading from the disk. This obviously isn't related to a GPU issue.

I know english isn't your first language considering you're from Bulgaria, but if you could try to make your original post a bit smaller and simpler it would help me a lot biggrin.gif

Cheers

Try RadeonPro. It has a Dynamic Framerate Control option, try that. It's supposed to help with stuttering.
Just make a profile for your game and enable it, set it to your monitor's refresh rate.

You will still get some tearing, but it's better and should reduce stutter.

Alternatively, you could use Dynamic Vsync in RadeonPro. This will automatically disable vsync when it drops below your monitor's refresh rate, eliminating vsync stutter.

Basically it depends on if you want vsync or not (some people don't like it because of input lag)

I'll try this Dynamic Vsync thing in RadeonPro.Is it supposted to be something like the Adaptive Vsync on Nvidia GTX 6xx series?

I think that could be the main reason since you're using the correct drivers biggrin.gif

Your English is better than my Hungarian... :-)

Yes, it is a third party AMD adaptation of Nvidia's adaptive vsync.

There isn't any possibility for decreased performance,is it? Because i'm really liking the performance of 12.10.

On the vsync option, what should i choose? There's only: Auto detect,Double vsync, vsync on,vsync off and under the menu with the options, there's a place to write down the refresh rate of the monitor.
Btw is it just with me but when i have vsync ON,there's something like input lag..The movements i do aren't as fast done in the game as without vsync.
