HD 4870 Overclocking

Thread Starter
So guys I am trying to change the voltage on this HD4870 card by Saphire. Ref design and both MSI Afterburner and GPU tool are not allowing me to do it. Infact GPU tool wont even change clocks and MSI is limited to 100,1100 which I can max out.

Help me please guys!!!

Can you use Radeon BIOS editor to modify the BIOS and raise limits?

Reference did have Voltage Control. I think it was the 512MB ones. It did not benefit that much though. I got mine from 750Mhz to 800Mhz.

I need to get mine back out. Clearly there's points to be had.

Mine did 875/1100 on air via MSI Afterburner last time I had it on.

I'll probably be BIOS editing it though next time.

Right bios editing it is!!!

What do I change in RBE. Its stock is 1.265 or similar.

I am going to do vantage on it with 3930K at 5.5ghz + should take some HW points for the team.
