I'm running it at home. My PS3 hates streaming using it. My Roku does an awesome job, though. It works fine over the internet if you have enough bandwidth.

Ummmm. You know, I'm not sure. I'll be home from work in a couple hours and I'll see if it has the settings to connect to MyPlex. I'd assume it would have that option considering it's the official Plex client.

Plex on Roku can run over WAN. Just have to login with your Plex account on the Plex app.

Plex does connect to the internet using MyPlex. Sometimes the mobile apps have some issues with streaming but for the most part it works great. I stream away from home a lot. I also have a Roku box which works great with Plex.

Well, it's a 100Mb switch. If you stream a few HD videos at the same time, your server might end up choking. Why not just get a cheap dumb 1Gb switch?
