Waht PSU should I get?

Hi guys,

Before anything I would like to say that I'm brazilian and I learned english from games so forgive me if I say something wrong.

I'm new here and I want to ask you something.

I'm using these specs:

I5 2500k @3,3 oc@4,8
P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3
4x 4Gb Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz
2x Seagate Barracuda 1TB Raid 0
SSD Intel 520 Series 120Gb
Asus HD 7870 DirectCU II
CM 690II Advanced
500w generic PSU

Soon I'll buy a Corsair H100 WC and maybe another HD7870 to build a CF.
I will buy a new PSU for my PC and I would like if you could recommend me a modular one with something between 500w and 700w with a nice CxB.

Thank you!

Since you're in Brazil you should look for a Sentey Golden Steel unit or a Sentey Platinum, they shouldn't be hard to find there.... also, drop the H100, get a proper air cooler.

I'm trying to buy from www.mercadolivre.com.br, www.kabum.com.br, www.megamamute.com.br, www.pichau.com.br and www.justshop.com.br .

I took a look at the Sentey Golden Steel and it's 499R$(237U$). Is the Sentey ERP-700ss good, it's 289R$(136U$)?

also I don't like those giant air coolers, but can you recommend me some?

Nope, the ERP series isn't worth the trouble.

From Sentey you should look for the GSP series (Golden Steel), LTP series (Platinum) and as a cheape alternative the SDP (Solid Power SS).

I see NZXT units are priced rather nicely there... so you could look for a cheap Hale82 650W (the modular version) or a Hale90 550/650W.

Look for a Prolimatech Megahalems or a Thermalright Archon... if those are too expensive come back and I'll offer you other, cheaper suggestions. smile.gif

I couldn't find any of this coolers on brazil. does the evga superclock worth buying? it looks beautiful and got a nice review at a local site (http://www.clubedohardware.com.br/artigos/Teste-do-Cooler-EVGA-Superclock/2322).

And the PSUs you recommended is all about 500R$ (236U$) because brazil taxes sucks. isn't there any modular decent psu with lower price? ><<br />
thank you guys for all the help biggrin.gif

Edit: oooh, i found this sentey: HBP500-SM. It have a nice price (257R$, 169U$), modular and looks great!

ps: i know that if a thing is cheap and looks nice it's probably because it's not that good inside D:
