The Wii won this last console war, no contest. Sales speak for themselves. Wii competed with 360/ps3. The Wii U is a lone next gen console much like 360 was at the time.
You lost all credibility with me once you actually said the Wii U is the one with the least amount of exclusives.... really....REALLY
? Besides the launch Mario title (which is an excellent game btw) they do not have any big exclusives right now
, when it has zero competition. Mario / Zelda / Metroid and the entire vast library of exclusives sell like hotcakes at all times. Nintendo's catalog is by far the most unique list of exclusives, and as always, Nintendo will profit from them.
This said I can only name two exclusives on 360 that really make me wish they were on PC. Halo and Forza. That's it.
PS3? Yea, it's got some too I'd like.
Overall however, both of those consoles titles and a majority of their AAA games are available on PC as well and are generally much more visually appealing there, let alone the benefits of a FPS on pc.
I wouldn't even own a 360 if it wasnt for forza.
I don't care about your opinion of my business sense, the Wii U doesn't even cater to gamers over say age 16 so their release window is as wide as they want it to be. The Wii might have won a console war but they all won in the end as they all cater to certain groups of gamers and sold a very high # of consoles/games. I have a wii but I never play it as the games on it are too "childish". Being able to run these "childish" games at 1080P seems like it would be easy on just about any system.
By the way the Wii U IS the console with the least # of exclusives as the PS3 has tons of exclusives while the Wii U has what? A new Super Mario Bros, Zombie game, and maybe 3 other exclusives while the rest are multiplatform games that have yet to be released on the Wii U.
They don't have any competition because they cater to young kids, the PS3 and Xbox both are better than the Wii if you're not into the kind of games like Zelda and Mario.
The PS3 has zero exclusives on the PC so your argument about the triple AAA games available on the PS3 AND PC is incorrect. Wheres MGS4, Uncharted Series, Heavy Rain, Infamous, Killzone, Socom, Red Dead Redemption, Last Of Us, (and I could go on and on and on) for the PC???
This is the reason why I bought the new PS3 as the PS3 has better games than even the PC in my opinion. PC gaming has gone way down hill as now I find myself just playing indie titles on it or games that are 10 years old such as Fallout Tactics or Planescape. There used to be a reason why people would upgrade their PC's in order to play the latest and greatest like HL2, Orange Box, and say Bioshock but those years are gone I don;t see a reason to upgrade anymore for gaming as now the best PC games are indie titles being released or games that are retro throwbacks or older games that will run on a 10 year old PC whereas the consoles especially the PS3 are getting really, really good games that will never see the light of day on the PC.
Personally I could care less about graphics too as you can obviously tell.
The PC just gets hand me down generic multi platform games like Assassins Creed now that run better on the consoles than PC due to them being console games first and PC games second.
