Intel MoBos are great if you want a shot of overdose of stability but in terms of overclocking? They've never been known for being that. At best the latest 975X is good but I doubt that many people or some have one of those because again....they're great but for overclocking? it's another story.
You could/can overclock with the latest 975X, except I haven't OC with an Intel board in 2 years and I forgot how to.....I know you have to enabled the "burn-in" part where it unlocks all the OC features but how stable and easy to use are they? Not sure.
IMO, get an ASUS P5W-DH Deluxe or P5B Deluxe, those are great overclocking boards and several of us in the forum have 'em, so most likely you'll get help a lot quicker with any of these two board than say....an Intel 975X.
