All I did was pull the antec cooler off the CPU and put the stock cooler back on, it had only been on for about a month so it was still really gooey and just came right off, there was no force used so I don't think my CPU is the culprit unless it fried somehow

How far have you gone regarding taking things apart? While you removed the cooler from the CPU, did you verify the CPU was okay that all the pins are properly in place and such? Have you removed the GPU and disconnected any drives so you're only powering the mobo and system fans? You should get a long beep if there's no video which means POST is working. If nothing, take out your RAM and see if it beeps. If you're still not getting anything that leaves you with the mobo, CPU, and PSU itself. Only way to diagnose what happened is to test each part with known working parts. Do you have an old rig you can test things with or know someone who has similar stuff?

I have taken the mobo completely out of the case and replugged in all the power conectors. I have tried unplugging the hard drive as well as the sata connections for the case leaving only the cpu, gpu and ram plugged in. I have also tried booting with all ram, 3 sticks, 2 sticks, one stick, and no sticks. All ram gives a blank screen as does no ram. There are no beeps. Using 1 or 2 sticks gives different messages such as a "_" in the upper left corner which is always there and a 99, A2, or A3 in the lower right corner. The cpu should be fine as I did not remove it and it took no force to remove the cooler sice the tim has only been on about a month. Googling these codes yeilds little results as nobody seems to know what they mean, some poele say it points to a bios error and some say an older gpu. Since my gpu is pretty damn current since it is a 670 it can't be a gpu compatibility error. The gpu maybe fried though, when I removed the 620 cooler from the gpu it did not seem to spread the tim out as much as I thought it would have or should have. So would a 670 overheat and fry itself in an idle state if not properly set? I can test out the 670 tomorrow possibly, this weekend for sure. Can't test anything else though as the only other mobos I have access to are not flashed to accept a six core, and I doubt their owners would allow me to do that. If it is my 670, do you think I voided my warranty? The card was free, but still. The 1090t was bought when it first released so I don't know if I'm still under warranty. And the mobo I received from MSI at the beginning of november as a replacement for a different mobo of theirs that died, so I am unsure as to how covered I am through them. Hope all this info helps.

Reseated the cpu and nothing has changed, I did not think anything would but tried it just to see, still getting "_" in upper left corner and "99" in bottom right

Have you reset the BIOS by clearing the CMOS? There's a 3 pin area that you move the jumper to clear it. You can do a long clear by removing the battery for awhile (few hours).

From what you've said about all RAM not working it sounds like your mobo has gone on you since you think the CPU looks okay, but you don't know for sure from just looking at it and resetting it. Check the warrenty on the mobo but I have a feeling you're going to end up buying a new one if all else fails.

Today I tried messing with different configurations of ram but all I get is either A2, A3, or 99 in the lower right hand corner. Tried restting the cmos and also removing the battery but those do no good. I took everything apart and put it back together but that didn't do any good either. Do I have a dead mobo on my hands?

99= Initialize BIOS data area / Timer data setup
A2= Fixed disk tested / Display and soft errors /Display any soft errors
A3=Set typematic rate

your post codes witch come from here.

I am leaning towards a fried mother board. As seeing you took you ram out and it made no difference. When you take your ram out. you should get a beep or code symboling something it wrong with it.
