Which case is a better buy for the price? Antec 1100 vs Corsair 500r

I can get the 1100 for $70 after rebate or the 500r for $100. I don't ever plan on water cooling or anything like that. As of now I am leaning towards the aesthetics of the 1100. Any input?

Any particular reason why? I don't ever plan on water cooling.

neither case seems to blow the other out of the water in terms of features, so i'd say go for antec since it appeals to you more. =)

I'd go for the Eleven Hundred at that price point. It has better thermals and acoustics than the 500R and is a solid, well built case. The 500R is a good case, but I don't think it's worth $100. It should be an $80 case. I rarely recommend Antec cases, but the Eleven Hundred is a good buy at $80, go for it.

Well technically it's 70 on newegg right now after rebate. So it's an even betteer buy. I'm most likely going to go with the 1100. Can anyone list the advantages of the 500r, im just curious.

That being said I still have an antec 302 unopened that I need to sale on ebay haha.
