Quiet but powerful!

So, this is my new gaming computer. biggrin.gif
I'm gonna take some more pics, but these ones are from the assembly I did yesterday.

Cable management fit easily on the back of the tower smile.gif

I think I'm going to remove the middle bracket, maybe check out som modding on how to put my SSD some other place.
Then I'll have plenty of room for airflow and a new couple of terra harddrive smile.gif

Finally done! Booted up without problems, innstalled all the drivers. Windows experience says 7.7 (7.9 on everything but the processor, it got 7.7)
I'll have to check out the forums about OC of my processor.

I'll put up some more pictures when everything is cleaned up! thumb.gif

I'm probably going to change the fans on the H100 to the ARCTIC F12 PWM fans.
And I'm moving my SSD to the back of the case taping or using velcro to fasten it. Looks like a simple mod smile.gif
Then I can use the 3 existing bays for 2 x 2TB Seagate Barracuda and my "old" 600GB WD for games.

Going to remove the middle bay-tray for more airflow smile.gif

Uploading more on how it worked out next week smile.gif

Looks like a good build, and nice set of parts!

I was looking to clean up the build, is it possible to use two of these from the PSU to the graphics card?
http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=376202#extra - its from a Norwegian store.

Currently I have one of these: http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/pcie6.jpg
and one of these: http://cdn.head-fi.org/5/56/56ff61d3_pcie-connectors.jpeg (the one on the left directly from the PSU.

Can anyone confirm if its okay?

Shouldn't be a problem. If it's easier for you, I'd suggest buying the wire/ pins/ and connectors yourself and just making whichever cables you need. PCIe cables are pretty easy to make if you're handy with a crimper. If not, those ones you linked should work fine. I'd suggest plugging them into the 12v5 or 12v6, or whichever plugs your PSU dictates as PCI worthy.

So here are some updated pictures. Cleaned up a bit and velcroed (is that a word?) my SSD on the back of the tower smile.gif

Really pleased with the SSD mount smile.gif

Edited:

I had to make a change, it was pointed out to me by a friend. Flipped the radiator on the H100, much cleaner smile.gif
And with this I don't loose any exhaust flow.

Looks pretty good with all those cables cleaned up!

I forgot to post new pictures XD

case is a bit more clean

the cables are cleaner now (I dont have a new pic) and my SSD is stuck on there with velcro biggrin.gif

1. I'm going to buy sleeved cables for my PSU, Corsair actually made a set so you have th option (didn't know that before setting up my computer)
2. I'm waiting to get a 3,5" bay that fits in my 5,5" bay. I tried to figure out a way to mount the holders in my stock case bay, but it didn't work.
3. Maybe changing out some stock fans for some Corsair SP series. AF series will make to much noise, maybe smile.gif

Any other suggestions internet? smile.gif
