Tygon E1000 tubing is rather costly and soft, but has a crazy bend radius (1 3/4 inch for the 1/2 ID 3/4 OD tubing). That won't be enough to handle the right-hand ram block, but might help for the other blocks.

If you can find really flexible tubing, the first loop layout would work great! thumb.gif

Yeah, I knew about that ram but the green pcb just ruins it. Also, it isn't g1/4 threaded so I lose out on the "cleanlook" of compressions and rotaries. Thanks for offering it though.

I always stayed away from Tygon, as they have very little respect when little kids ask for a sample of their tubing. I do realize that Tygon is made by SG, but I talked Mr. Stofer from Sidewinders to offer Durelene in 100 ft. Packs at really cheap rates, so no offence, but I'm pretty sold in buying 2 of those packages.

Update: It was my birthday on the 13th. So, my parents agreed too buy all the watercooling gear IF i cleaned my room. I'll still have to wait for an RMA with gskill to go through before installing it though.

That's a sweet deal...

You would think... wink.gif but my room is an absolute mess.

Anyways, as my room gets cleaned up, here are a few problems that im encountering:

1. Compression Fittings:

Solution 1: XSPC slim compression - reasoning: slim, may help with gaps, cheap, looks clean - negatives: never used before, unsure of quality

Solution 2: Bitspower compression - reasoning: quality, already have a lot, lots of options - negatives: bulky, unsure if it will fit

Solution 3: Bitspower crystal link - reasoning: lots of options, looks clean - negatives: unsure of using acrylic pipes because of leakage

2. D5 vs DDC

Solution 1: D5 (VARIO) - reasoning: reliable, quiet, cool, variable speed, have one already - negatives: big, bulky

Solution 2: DDC (MCP35X) - reasoning: compact, high head pressure, PWM/Voltage-based control - negatives: no CSQ flavored EK top (sorry for those who don't like it), heat

3. Top radiator (420 mm one)

Solution 1: EX420 with fans

Solution 2: Double thick rad without fans

4. 140mm fans

Unfortunately Scythe doesn't rebrand 140mm based GTs

5. Budget

Currently buying all the watercooling gear is gonna cost north of 1500USD. I only have 700USD (500 for cleaning room + 200 of money that I found cleaning up my room) at the moment, however, there is a tiny possibility that I might win a small cash prize (100USD) at LA County Science Fair.

THANK YOU EVERYONE who came in to look at this thread. And sorry for taking so long to get started. If you happen to live near LA, on Saturday March 23rd, at the pasedena convention center is the LA Science fair. It is open to the public. Please check out project #97 and support me!

Thanks again,

Dennis

$1500 seems a bit steep for those parts, would you be able to give us a quick list of the water cooling components you were planning on getting? There may be a few places where you could save quite a bit of money.
Good luck at the science fair!
