Gigabyte GA 965P-S3 or Gigabyte GA 965P-DS3 -- What are the differences?

Thread Starter
The title explains it all. I think it's just the price really, but I thought I'd get a few more opinions.

Gigabyte GA 965P-S3 - £82.58
Gigabyte GA 965P-DS3 - £93.99

Any help is good. Thanks in advance.

The DS3 has solid capacitors which doesn't really affect OCing but does affect the life span of the board

What are solid capacitors, and by how long?

I have no idea by how long it would extend the life of the board

Would that be a wise decision to buy that instead of the S3?

I would get the DS3 over the S3 but that's just me, whether it's a wise decision or not I don't know

Personally, i'm thinking about going S3 instead of DS3. The DS3 might live longer (they say about 5 years more), but since i upgrade more often than 10 years, i figure i'll just save myself 30 bucks and get the S3. The choice is yours.
