Thanks sin for the reply's

Modular is not important so i think another XFX it is then ( glad i made a good choice on my own rig biggrin.gif )

I have seen a few threads on overclocking the 7950 to give as much if not better performance than a 7970 also them 7950's are £225 + you get 3 free games ( or at least you did when i got it )

Also for the extra £80ish is the 7970 that much better ?

If it's the GHZ edition then it is worth it, they are cream of the crop, special selected GPU's that are pretty much perfect in every way,

It's like going from a IF diamond to an SI diamond (slight inpefections and internally flawless)

Think of it this way, 7950 are failed 7970 chips smile.gif... of course the 7970s offer a tangible gain, they should also overclock better (should scale better with voltage).... but value wise, the 7950 is a better proposition. smile.gif
