More then less this equesion is correct, but there is also the thickness wchich should be taken into account. Alphacool Monsta 240 would easily outperform Alphacool NexXxos ST 360 with mid speed fans installed... It is a bit more complicated than just counting the surface of the radiators... They are many more variables than that, for example the material the radiator is made of and the restrictions it makes to the water flow etc.

Yeah I know there are a lot of variables, but assuming I get good fans and don't get the thinnest radiator possible
