Corsair HX750 or Seasonic X650? - Page 2

It's on par with seasonic X and corsair AX/HX. It's a really powerful unit at a very competitive price.

Thanks for all the quick responses

It looks like its kinda split, so I guess the two PSUs are indeed pretty similar.

Ill make sure to ask the person Im buying this for about if he wants to pay a little bit more for an even better quality one, or just a different brand completely to support non-Seasonic/Corsair PSUs

Both of those are (somewhat) significantly more expensive though. I know why its important to branch out with different PSU brands (read that thread on this forum on it a while back), but if youre on a budget youd just have to go with whatever the best is for the price.

Im not actually purchasing this for myself, its for a friend. A couple other people have also recommended some 80+ platinums here, so Ill ask him if hes willing to pay a little bit more for an even better quality one.

Well, I don't see how you can find a better quality than the Seasonic X-650 out of all of these - look at the review (and I have the X-850), and at the sale price of $90, you cannot beat the performance or the price. It is a really fantastic buy and performer -t he Seasonic is better than all of those mentioned so far.

If money is a big concern, you can always go with the stalwart Corsair TX650 v2 for $90. Hard to beat it. It may not be the absolute best but its still an excellent power supply with superb build quality thatll last a while. Dollar for dollar it may be the best power supply on the market.
