eVGA 680i SLI meltdown...

As some of you may know from some of my other posts, I have been having a terribly hard time getting the temps of my X6800 under control. So far I have done everything I could think of, I have lapped the CPU, lapped the HSF, re-applied AS5 countless times, etc, etc. Nothing has worked. Well, I was taking a look at the bios today after restarting my computer and this is what I saw. It is painfully obvious now that I was looking in the wrong direction for a solution. Check out the pic. Unfortunaly until I can get some customer service from eVGA who has repeatedly told me its not their problem (even AFTER registering the mobo) im afraid I wont be able to use my computer.

It's the Northbridge, can't remember what it's an abbrevation for.

*EDIT*

Changed right as I posted.

What's in the pic that i'm supposed to see?

Edit: So the heat of your NB is making your CPU hot?
The temperature of the MCP.

Even the guys at VRzone suggested that you MUST use the fan that came with the MoBo for the chipset because it happened the same thing that's happening to you.

So, the cure should be to put a 60mm or 80mm fan blowing on the heat-sink from the north-bridge, if you don't have one already, do some mod and get it down A.S.A.P. before something goes further wrong.

In Intel's, they named it correctly: NB Core

nVidia, they name it correctly as well: Memory Controller Problem .

that sucks.. do you have a fan on the northbridge heatsink?

I would wait until you get the SLI bridge and fan from eVGA and try testing it again before trying to do an RMA.

No, that is the problem, as yall know I won this PC from the Nvidia Reality Tour, and it did not come with the fan, or an sli bridge. I have repeatedly contacted eVGA about getting one sent to me, to no avail. They say contact someone at Nvidia. I have contacted the person at Nvidia twice by email, and have not received a reply. Im starting to wonder if the best thing to do is to take this problem to the eVGA forums where it will get public exposure. I should also say that I have already registered the board, and requested the parts be sent, however, I have yet to receive an email even stating my request was received.
