What are the essential must play PC games? - Page 6

There's already some good suggestions here.

Crysis Warhead.

Dark Souls and Darksiders if you have an Xbox controller for your PC.

Half-life 2
and both follow up Episode packs 1 & 2. I assume #3 is coming eventually.

And I think Doom 3 with user high resolution textures and graphical mods should be on the list. It starts out slow but final levels in Hell are great.

Walking Dead

Many of the later LEGO games (Batman, Indiana Jones, etc) are pretty fun, and have a co-op option. Again if you have controller(s).

Hotline Miami
with a controller.

I think RAGE is also very underrated if you like run and gun FPS games. It looks great on a good PC.

The great news is that all but 2 of these games can be found on sale for $5 or less.

Good luck finding a boxed copy of MGS1 on the PC though - it's absolutely one of the rarest games to find on the PC, period (especially the US version I have above). thumb.gif

Oh well, ePSXe success rate is very high.

Rage was awsome! There were a few problems here and there, and some style choices I could have done without, but the enemies and their AI was fantastic. I realy had hoped to see more games come out with that engine (especialy they AI) from developers that might have been able to provide a better story.

I agree. The AI combined with the animations and voices is exceptional. Probably the best I've seen in any FPS game.

if you can stand really old graphics then diablo2. if you want a more updated version of diablo2, then try path of exile.
