if your sig is up-to-date, then do so. it is either 2 sticks or populate all slots. you may be running in single channel.

weird. if it does not affect the performance of your system, then i guess you can leave it as is. i know asus does not recommend 3 sticks. you can compare your maxxmem results here if you care . .

IMO get the most expensive one you can get; the 7970 performs better.
