glad your reflow process worked..at least it seems so. then again 6c degrees doesn't seem like a big difference from an h100. but then again you're also cooling the gpu. to be honest i'd get rid of the tube res. only because you're running it as a redundant res and only really need the bay res.
i have 2 res' in my Narada build but that's because the pumps are in series, and it matches the rest of the loop nicely. i'd sell it and use the money for another radiator myself thumb.gif
seems like you've dodged a few bullets here. glad that's happened!
No kidding, LOL! The water accident wasn't as bad as it sounded. Water landed on the top of the hard drives, nowhere near the power / sata connectors. I just blew out the hot swap cages the drives were in, went over them with a heat gun in quick passes, and let them sit overnight. I've been slowed down ENOUGH with this build, so I was anxious to make some progress before Xmas.

I could ditch the tube res, but I like the looks of it. smile.gif I've had some issues with mine, so I wouldn't bother selling it. Unloading cheap junk on someone else would bother my conscience. Losing that thing would sure simplify the loop though, no doubt about that. But the XSPC bay res is in a tight spot. I'd rather NOT to have to move that thing at all.

I wasn't a believer in this method until I tried it out.
Cool, thanks for the tip! Never heard that before.

yah. thats A DROP of soap ... any more than that, and you've ruined your loop. Saw this in either the Switch club or the OCN watercooling club this past year.

I don't think I'd risk the loop over having it drain a second or 2 quicker. I'm not *that* impatient!

Yes, that's "killing" the bubbles away from the loop. thumb.gif

More than a drop doesn't kill the loop. The last rig I had housed two seperate loops and in a rush I accidentally put several drops in each res. It just sudded up a bit inside the res, which went away after an hour or so of bleeding. It was completely fine for more than 6 months. No weird corrosion or anything.

Don't want to hijack Bart's thread, but I use Dawn. Just plain old Dawn dish soap.

Bart, I suggest you try it out :-] It makes bleeding (that's getting all the air out of your loop) very painless.
