Anyway, pink is just a light red you get by adding white to red.
I dont know that white lights would turn your build pink but the imagery was funny in my head.

If I ever had pink in my PC, and someone at work got wind of it, I wouldn't hear the end of it until the day I died. smile.gif Once I get over feeling like absolute crap, I'm going to order some spotlight LEDs I think. A few white, a few red, just to experiment with. I found a local electronics place that stocks a lot of stuff like connectors, wire, crimp pins, LEDs, etc. Just don't know exactly what they have, what wire to use to rig them up, etc. I need to do some homework on custom wiring LEDs, but I feel like crap and therefore have no motivation.

Hi Bart,

I see that you have some pretty temperatures there on your GPU at full load.

I am getting 34 degrees idle and around 60+ at max load on my Gigabyte GTX 670? Do you think that is normal?
I'm running a 670 and I get 41 on max load.

What else have you got on your loop? What pump and rads?

I don't know much about the GTX, but that does sound a bit high. I couldn't MAKE my GPU hit over 44C, and that was running Furmark and Prime95 at the same time just to generate the most heat I could in my loop. It depends on a lot of things, like the stuff LayerCakes mentioned (pumps / rads / other loop parts, etc). And also what GPU block you're running, what TIM did you use, etc. I could only find one GPU block that would fit my non-reference Sapphire card, but it appears to be performing VERY well!

Great narrative. 42 is old now? We're living long past 80 mate, you're only a little over halfway there!

Good to see some of the old dogs who are used to air cooling and only air cooling only take a shot at doing water cooled builds.

Get those cables in the grommets and behind those trays man! I know you're testing it looks heinous having loose wires floating around on the 800D. That thing is litterally cable management heaven.

Good build mate, can't wait to see more.

No sir, I haven't touched this build in quite a while. I started having severe sleep issues, and now I don't have the energy and motivation to fix this mess!

I haven't even done the cable management yet. smile.gif Having all these molex power connectors for LEDs is a pain in that department. So is the inverter for the UV light in the tube res. I really wish I had the skills to strip the molex connectors and turn those into 2-pin connectors. That would make life much easier.

I need to light a fire under my own ass and get this finished!
