This too! If I'm going to drop that much $$$ on a case, I'm sure as hell not cutting it up! What's the point of spending all the money in the first place only to end up with something that doesn't meet your needs? My nerd logic has trouble with that. smile.gif Of course, if I had modding skills, I'd have a completely different (read: opposite) opinion. biggrin.gif

But that's why you got 10 of 'em, so you can make 10 mistakes. biggrin.gif

And cutting up cases is fun.

LOTS of nickels and dimes! biggrin.gif I really wish they'd throw more in for the price though. For example, give me 2 or 3 "freebies" I could chose from (ie flex bays). But you can't argue with the quality and service from what I hear. That IS worth a premium. Damn it, I need more money!

After all the options, shipping, custom paint, and taxes, my STH10 cost me over (way over) a G.
And when I think of it, that is rather insane to pay a G for just a case. But I don't regret my purchase for one minute. I just regret my custom paint color choice.

Pimp out your wife/gf if you have to, a CL case is worth every penny.

Too often you will see guys claiming this product or that product is the best tgere is. And too often, they just say that because they own it and they don't know any different.

I can assure you that's not the case here. I pondered for a long time about spending that much cash on a square boxy flat black box.

When I finally got it, I realized my expectations for this case were just too low. In person, the industrial look of it is very endearing. A great case, the best case I have ever owned. Very solid construction and so many options.

When you finally pimp out your wife for it, make sure you pick.Fedex for shipping method. If you have to pick UPS make sure Jim labels it as a gift or sample. Otherwise UPS will rip you off blind.

Tanker Grey, but only for the two side doors and the front panel. The rest was left in factory flat black.
I should have done the whole thing in either color. But mixing the two didn't give me the effect I was hoping for.

Hey old nerd, what cabling from the e46 did you try to copy (ex BMW mechanic here). Look at the picture you so adaquately described (the 7950 box drawing).Tell me what weapon our female grunt is packing. My call is a highly modified M1 Garand. It is OK when they put drawings or paintings on these boxes but when they have to pay models (that increase the price of the product) I draw the line.

No news yet. I'm going to phone the local place this week and get an update on the status of the 900D order. Based on their answer, I'll make a decision: wait, or re-mortgage my house to buy Case Labs. biggrin.gif

Actually, it wasn't E46 cables, but my noob plan was to create ///M colored power cables. smile.gif But being a noob, I had no idea about pin designation with ATX cables, and that they are power supply specific. So now I have some extra single sleeved cables, about 32 of em!

As for the gun, no idea since I'm Canadian, and our country is run by very polite socialist nazis who don't let us have guns. smile.gif Well, we can own guns, but the process is painful, and of course the government charges you crap like "registration fees". Something no American would EVER put up with!!
