[Build Log] An old man's first blinged out water build. - Page 83

Mounting one of the Monstas on the bottom, power supply side, turned out to be trickier than I expected due to the casters. DOH! Oh well, I dug into my "nerd bag o screws" and found some long thin thread ones that fit perfectly, and also used an XSPC rad gasket I got from Daz to separate the rad from the caster bolts.

The rad end tank sitting on top of a caster bolt (power supply side, back):

Same thing, but power supply side front:

Test mounted for tubing ideas:

Looks like the tube runs I had in my mind may not work. I want to run tube from the XSPC 360 which will mount above the motherboard, fittings on the back of the case, and connect it to that top Monsta, but there isn't much room to work with, and only one small grommet to get a tube through.

A very good son. But as you saw what I did for the weekend I try to be good son and father...

Also ordered 6 Scythe Gentle Typhoons (AP-45 2150RPM version) from Dazmode.com, and they shipped 15 minutes after I placed the order. Awesome!! I don't plan on doing push/pull on the Monsta 360s, since push or pull will be more than enough.

You make me wish i would have got these instead of the EK items!!mad.gif

This one was a no-charge pickup, so I think someone goofed, maybe the new girl at the post office. Although she did scan it to make sure, so I'm not sure what's up.

On a related note, when I did my first and only order from Aquatuning.us, the customs/duty charge was actually part of the original bill, shipped via UPS. First time I've ever seen that, as us Canucks usually get surprise-butt-raped on that stuff. The shipping/duty charge was surprisingly SMALL too, so assuming the order lands without issue, I'll be ordering from Aquatuning again for sure!

Maybe the girl at the post office wanted you????
