You will!biggrin.gif
That's the thing about the Mostas, they're so damn wide. That's why I gave up trying to stuff the 480 monsta in my TJ07, and went back to the slim Swiftech rad. The Monsta literally touches the psu, and doesn't allow it to be bolted into the back plate properly: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
That also crowds the D5's too much for comfort.

I wondered if you could mount the bottom monsta on it's side, with the intake air coming from the side vent on your door? But, maybe that wouldn't work out for you, idk.
Anyhow, it looks promising, with some fitting magic from that Bitspower 45-180 degree fitting.

I gotta give you a Rep+ for this, one of the most entertaining logs I've had the pleasure to follow.thumb.gif

Thank you sir! Man, your setup WAS tight, LOL! Not much room to breathe there! You definitely made the right call ditching the Monstas. I probably should have went with a pair of UT60s or even slimmer rads, but I wanted massive overkill. biggrin.gif

Which shouldn't be a problem in an M8!
I just realized that there's no way to stuff a rad sideways into the bottom of an M8, unless you got the pedestal for it, that would make it quite tall though.
Well, you'll find a way to get the Mostas plumbed together, I'm sure.
You must be getting ready for the big game tonight. I have faith in the Senators, they've got to win tonight!thumb.gif

Pittsburgh will eat them. smile.gif Sad, but unavoidable really. Craig Anderson can't steal a series from a team with that much talent. They might win 1 more game, but the end is near I think. frown.gif

The Monsta ends up so close to the PS that I'm pretty sure you can't fit a right-angle compression fitting in there. I think I have a busted PS buried somewhere in my basement, so if I can find that, I'll mount it up and see how much clearance I have. If I could do as you suggest, my original plan would work. The first plan was to have all 3 rads with the ports on the rear of the case, then go from EX360 to top Monsta, down to bottom Monsta, then run one long tube from the back of the case to the front, through one of the grommets and into the tube res. That layout makes a lot of sense in my mind, and seems to be as clean a tube run as I can get in this situation.

Digicial: thanks for posting those pics! That helps a lot! I wish I had sprung for the MH10 now too. smile.gif Of course, then I'd end up wanting 480 Monstas because I'm an idiot, and I'd be in the same boat! I considered external tube runs as well, but I really want to keep in internal. The two things that makes this hard are the tall tube res, and the fact that I have 4 HDDS and 2 SSDs. I'm planning to velcro the dual SSD mount to the bottom of the HDD cage on the PS side, with no drives on the mobo side at all. That makes it a REAL tight fit!

Bart let me know if you want a spare PSU to Test with I have A 850 Seasonic we could talk about???

LOL! Knowing how absent-minded I can be, that WILL happen. I'll forget about ONE cable, either a chassis fan, the 8 pin motherboard power cable, etc. I ALWAYS do stupid things like that! I'll be sure to make a paper list of connections to be "checked off" before putting water in this thing.

I know what you mean I have ordered so much extra stuff it is terrible. I have at least 20 of each of the bitspower matte black fittings. 20 of each one that make that do not have compression or barb fitting built in as i am going to use the 50 monsoon compressions i ordered...

Also you should have got a TX-10 not the babies!!!! biggrin.gif

I need a fitting shaped like this:

Not happening. This was as close as I could get (damn I remember how much fun Legos were when I was a kid):

Another Lego attempt:

One of these might actually fit if I remove the u-channel around that top grommet. Hmmmmm.

dont forget bitspower makes a u shaped fitting also!!! thumb.gif

Thanks to Bart and everyone, this helps me know that I am not smart enough to do that, so when I do my over the top build at some point I will look at one of the tall Case Labs, not the cubs.

Looking forward to how you work all this out. By the way, why no love for Vodka, I found that is better for the next morning for me?

no a tall double sided case like the TX-10 and vodka is just for eastern Europeans. Plush let me tell you a secret about drinking as long as you drink a litre of gaterade or a sports drink before you go to bed you wake up feeling fine!!! it keeps you from being dehydrated and this is what makes you feel bad... Trust me I am a professional drunk

For some reason, I can't build a tolerance to wine. It's a consistent drink for me.

As for the Case Labs cube, you can do it! I'm a complete idiot (obviously), and I'll get this done somehow. It won't be pretty, but it will get done. Just learn from my mistakes, and don't buy over-sized rads you don't need, or over-sized tube reservoirs you don't need, etc. If I had planned this properly, and went with thinner rads and a smaller tube res, this build would be a lot easier.

Rum is the best. and no you are not a idiot you are having fun and it looks good.

But if I mounted the fans on top of the rad, that might help. Hmmmmmm.

Yeah, that's the one thing I found was perfect with my previous build-out. The UT60's port (provided it's mounted directly to the top of the case) lines up almost perfectly with that grommet hole at the back. So I'm figuring that make the port on the Monsta almost exactly 15mm to low. frown.gif If you put pull fans on the Monsta it should have enough room to come from the top port with a 90 and make it... but it will be a threading process...

First you'd need to have nothing in yet, then cut a longer than necessary tube run and connect it to the inner (to be top) port - has to be a stubby 90 though or adapter - not a 'smooth 90' because I think those stick up more than 25mm so they'd probably be too tight to get in there - but I could be wrong on that. then feed the tube through the hole and 'load' your fans between and attach with the 30mm screws while holding the whole thing with one hand while adjusting fans, etc and turning screws with the other one. And that is where my back would give out on me if I weren't in the perfect position... tongue.gif It would probably be even better with some 3-5mm fan gaskets and using the 35mm screws... but then there's 6 separate things to line up in order to attach it to the case (seven if you count the rad itself - all with one hand.... ohno-smiley.gif

Maybe you could measure the distance to the bottom of the case and rig up something for a 'rad stand' to hold it in place while you attempt to line up 3 fans and 3 gaskets with the holes. thinking.gif

Any way, I had to rep you on the Legos comments... I still have all of mine (although I haven't actually touched them in 20 years)... since I'm not having kids, but I refuse to give them away - they'll always be on hand for my nephew when he gets older. I don't think I had any other toys from 5-13 - and I didn't care at all... I just wanted more Legos! I also discovered that my roommates and I had just as much fun playing with them in college... but we were 'chemically retarded' to about 12yr olds at the time... so I guess that makes sense too! whistle.gif

It should be pretty cheap if it's disassembled and shipped flat packed like they do - I already received mine (woohoo - 3 days from ordered to received via GROUND) - it's nice to live so close to CA sometimes! I think shipping from CL was less than $15 - so I wouldn't think shipping to Canada would be more than twice that much... but ya never know with those Cannucks!
