hey bart. considering getting the same case, and was wondering if you could measure the clearance between the mid plate and the psu side hd cage.

I'm not in front of my case at the moment but I have an M8 as well - I'd put the clearance at around 1.25" if you mean between the inside of the drive carrier housing and the inner wall - it might be a little bit more but I doubt it. There's about 3/8" from the edge of the carrier and the edge of the fan mount assembly... and I'd estimate no more than an inch from that to the divider panel.

If Bart doesn't reply with a more precise measurement, I'll edit this with an exact one for ya.

my plan was to run a passthu from the mobo side panel to the back where I would connect it to a 90 degree extender. Looking at the drawings from bitspower i'll need 30 mm of clearance. Might be doable, although hd mount screws might get in the way..

You have exactly 30-31mm. smile.gif Would be a tight fit for sure.

You have a hardware store around bart?...You may look for some L brackets that could allow you to shift that monsta on it's side attaching the L bracket to the fan holes. That or you can get some of the duct hanger wire, the stuff with holes for screws in it. I know they also have Nylon washers. You can stack those for alignment purposes. Just try and find a zinc coated or get some rubber sheet to use as a mount between the metals,Just in case. Heck a cheap one of these may do all of that? http://www.erector.us/models/construction.html

I measured from the middle case/motherboard wall to the edge of the HDD cage that's mounted in the middle.

Hmmm, that's an interesting idea. I'm far too drunk to give that good consideration though, so I'll check that out in the morning. tongue.gif Thanks for the suggestion!

Now you hurt my feelings bart Rich why your figure that???

actually most people would consider the bonus I got for year end company performance that but I worked my ass off for 20 years to get this so I am proud and LIKE it!!!

normally I would agree with you about the Nvidia but they work and speed up Adobe programs and I use these so I am using these cards..
