Any idea how much that bridge would cost? If its too much then i'd rather not give it a try.

low power cards don't need the bridge to crossfire.

Even if it did work, you would see almost no increase. Here is the deal: the HD 7750 is a beast compared to that HD 5450. My HD 7750 is about as fast as my old HD 5850 so imagine trying to crossfire them together rolleyes.gif

I have one more question.

The HD7750 has 2 HDMI adapters and one digital adapter

The HD5450 has 1 HDMI adapter, 1 digital and 1 analog if i am not wrong.

I have 3 moniters. Only 1 of it supports HDMI while the other 2 use only digital and analog adapters.

For that reason i cannot use the 7750 alone for Eyefinity.

1) I would like to know if i plug in the HD5450 and it works will i be able to use the adapters on the 5450 as well?

and

2) What performance difference will there be between and x4 and x16 slot?

also,

3) If the HD 5450 does not work in crossfire, is there a HDMI to digital adapter that i can purhase to use all 3 moniters?

Thanks.

you can also daisychain with the displayport. I don't know how many can be hooked to one port, but it can be done.

I think the HD5450 will work fine as a second graphics card (NOT crossfire, NOT eyefinity). You should be able to use its outputs to run your other monitors in windows.... but do not expect to have games run across all screens.

So as far as I see it, your setup will look like this (if you want both card in your PC without using any adaptor)

HD 7750 running one DVI and one HDMI monitor, and you can play games on both those monitors at once.
HD 5450 running one DVI monitor.

As you have already mentioned, I would try to find some sort of adaptor.

Alright guys,

I tested the crossfire and NO it does not work. Worth a try though. I decided that tomorrow i will go to a shop and look for a HDMI-DVI adapter. That way i can still user 3 moniters with full performance.

You can only crossfire Graphics cards, with a same or relatively coherent Gpu.
