Awesome! Thanks for the opportunity. It's about time all my "wasted" hours on OCN have the potential for greatness tongue.gif

Good luck to everybody who qualifies for the giveaway! I'm definitely rooting for myself, though tongue.gif

Not sure if I qualify either.

I have the GTX 560Ti in my system at the moment. Games fine and stuff, but sometimes it will freeze for like 20 seconds. I hate this because I mainly play league of legends and other shooters, and missing a second can lead to your death.

So I would like to win this 6970 to replace the 560Ti that I have currently. If I win, the 560Ti will be a dedicated folder for the F@H team.

Thanks for the chance mang!

So in for this! My 460 is long overdue for upgrade and I was gonna buy a 6970 or 480 but my 68 beetle decided to have the turn signals die on me so my plans had changed. The accelero would be so nice here in Arizona!

edit: I have aboslutely no idea how the entry system works and would like some clarification.

Let me include an nVIDIA equal. My bad. You're fine though. Less than a 580.

I'd like to put my name in the fish bowl. I can't say I need the card but I would put it to use along side my current 5870 and fold with it. The only trick would be making it fit in my case with my current 5870 + Accelero.

To my knowledge my last rep count was ~100.

Location. Central Illinois.

Woo, I'd definitely like to be in! My Sapphire doesn't OC very much, so no matter how much I try, I can never get Ultra smooth on my rig... :'( I think it's partially due to the fact I'm probably losing 20FPS by using an 1100T and a regular 6950 just can't do the job as a 6970 can.

Great freebie!

Hello Shion314 and thanks for the giveaway.
You seem like a cool guy and what you require isn't too demanding, the crossfire nightmares people speak of are indeed true.
I faced them with my current 6850 crossfire and I face VRAM limitation in certain games, a 6970 could possibly hold me longer untill the 9k series and I would pass one of my 6850's to my cousin and give the other away on OCN just like you are doing right now.
I honestly don't know if I'm able to enter the giveaway cause I think the combined GPU power of two 6850's is above a single 6970, but here's for trying.
I'm from Portugal, that small chaotic place left of Spain... Check it on google maps tongue.gif

Thanks for the giveaway and good luck to every participant and thanks for the generosity Shion314. thumb.gif

I'd love to get this smile.gif

At the moment I have a Trinity APU that I'll probably use throughout college (I'm a senior in HS) so any chance to have a better gaming experience would be huge for me.

Thanks for this freebie. I'd like to enter, please (hopefully I'm allowed to enter haha).

My reasoning is that my GTX 460 is getting kind of long in the tooth and I would like to get a bit more performance out of my machine. I'd also like to switch to AMD again since it's been a long time since I last had an AMD card (4850). Also 6970's are cool haha.

Oh I'm familiar with geography. This is also for me to see the diversity of people here on OCN. smile.gif
