Posting in D3 Forums

Thread Starter
Hi All,

I am having an annoying issue when I attempt to post in the D3 forums. I am logged in with my D3 account(Ragner#1116), and when I try to create a thread, this message pops-up "The game license has expired or been cancelled." I purchased D3, WoW and SC2. The only thing I can think of is that I cancelled my WoW sub about a year ago, but it doesn't make sense that it would keep me posting in the D3 forums? My profile shows my D3 account after I login. Has anyone had this issue?

Did you get D3 from subbing to WoW for 1 year? If so, that sub may need to stay active.

I purchased it as stand-alone. I really hope they don't make you have a WoW sub just to post in D3 forums, that doesn't make sense.

You'll have to contact Blizzard I guess. You don't normally have to have a WoW sub, and shouldn't need it if you bought the game.

I had this issue.

I was logged in under my Battlenet account but somehow showed SW2 Trail version. Had to switch the game to D3 somewhere.

Don't remember exactly where that setting is located and on my work computer so can not log in to check.

That was my issue too. Even though it showed me logged in as my D3 account, when I clicked on a thread and at the bottom is the "Reply to Thread" option, it showed my WoW account there so I just clicked the drop-down arrow > Manage Characters and selected my D3 profile. It is weird that you couldn't do that from the root of the forums page and had to click on a post to change it. Thanks all for the help.
