VMod for No0bs..pls help

hi guys...im new just wanted someone to school me on volt mods and what they do, and how they effect your card..i curently in SLi with the 6600's with stock cooling, wanted to see how far they can be pushed with out harming them, current drivers are (www.nvidia.com) 93.71 Forceware with the (www.tweaksrus.com) XG Tweakerizer 93[1].71 ..everything is running perfect..just wanted to get more out of them..heres my clock info..thx guys

I wouldn't recommend it unless you've got spare money lying around for a new card, cause too many people using volt mods are starting "did my card just die" threads (here and a couple of other forums). Just OC it with coolbits.

I did a volt mod with pretty decent results. Pencil modded my 7600GT and checked that it didn't change the value of the resistors too drastically! Just keep an eye on temps and erase the mod if it doesn't work out!

its not that unsafe BUT (!!!!!!!!) CHECK the voltage before you give your precious cards more voltage than a small substation has, and make sure you have some DECENT aftermarket cooling!
