This is in a way a repost, because this is the conclusion I reached with everyone's help in a previous thread.
But, before I buy it, I'd just like to be sure smile.gif

The computer will have three displays, all connected by DVI.
It'll be for programming and watching movies. (1080 necessary!)
I plan to over-clock the i7 to 4GHz.

Compatibility seems to check out. Wanted advice on under/overkill. Or if you just don't like my mobo, or just don't like my case, tell me. I'm all ears!

not sure if that psu is modular or not, but this one is and is a bit cheaper. or you could get the non modular version for even cheaper if thats the goal.

why not get a closed loop water cooler since you plan to OC a 3770k?

all 3 of the monitors wont be able to connect via DVI to 1 7950, you will have to convert one to either hdmi or display port though the card may come with the converter.

Dump the 3770k for a 3570k and go for a 7970 3GB unless you absolutely need the hyper threading. Your going to need the extra GPU power when going tripple displays.

I picked that per your suggestion... I'm going to check out what navynuke said, but the HALE90 looks sweet, and is good reviewed.
The HAF X... I'll be sure to check it out. Looks quite similar. If it proves to function better, there's no question--it's only a little more $$.

I'll look into it all, but that 7950 is a 'Flex' version, HERE: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202007&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=
I believe that it can connect three DVI with an included adapter. Am I wrong? (I see that when I listed the GPU it didn't specify it is Flex)

I wanted a modular PSU, and that one is modular. I will check out what you suggested, though.

As for water cooling though: I wanted it to be easy. Is it silly for me to be afraid of water cooling? It just sounds complicated/risky. Lol.

the flex card only has 2 dvi ports so you will need to convert one to go in the hdmi or display port.

as for the water cooling, the closed loop coolers are very safe and are better than most of the air coolers. they are about equal to the $80-90 air coolers but take up much less space. just a suggestion since IB runs hotter than SB when over clocking.
