I've been a DayZ player for a while, and even though I know WarZ is a copy, I still wanted to try it out. I was so close to buying it on Steam since it was really cheap. Now I'm glad I didn't smile.gif

Just wondering, are the refounds coming from valves pocket and did he devs just walk of with their money?
Its also funny how a friend of mine hyped warz because he believed all the two years in development crap biggrin.gif hes been awfully quiet lately smile.gif

I'm still not really sure why anyone would want to play this over DayZ? Including ArmA2, they both cost about the same, but since you get a complete other game with wanting to play DayZ as well... i see more value across the board with DayZ.

doing even a basic Google search on the dev for WarZ, and a cursory glance at the evidence piling up in this thread should be enough to keep any reasonable person from ever buying from ANY of his projects ever again. He's a crook, period. "Oh, but they're doing something now!".... and you believe this is for the good of the game? Not to just stimy the flood of people demanding refunds?

How naive can some people be? rolleyes.gif If I want to play what WarZ wishes it could be in a year or two, i'll play DayZ now thanks.

None of the money actually made it to the developers. The way retailers and online systems do it is they do once daily/weekly/monthly payments, and since War Z didn't make it a full day, I doubt their first payment went through and I'm sure Steam has a contractual clause that allows them to suspend payments in cases such as this.

So think of it like this, the scammers were drooling at the number of zeros on the check steam was going to write, and then steam started scratching out zeros.

I think Hammerpoint includes the development of War Inc in that 2 years in development claim tongue.gif

Not sure where the refunds are coming from, tbh. I really hope it's from Hammerpoint.
