I bought mines just for bragging rights. Honestly tho, my Storm Sentinel Advanced II is very laggy. I've heard that this a problem with the sensor itself, and as far as I know only Mionix is pushing their new mouse with the fixed sensor. As such I highly recommend Mionix.

If you don't care about bragging rights, then go with a standard 5000dpi mouse. The sensors are great and there is little issues with them at this stage.

I got no Lags with my Kone XTD and so you won't have Lag with the Pure. I also really had a strong Feeling with the Razer Taipan using the 9800 also. It's not true that Lag is a hardwarebased Problem of the 9800. Otherwise no Factory would use it. Accel is another Case, but real Lags would be even not acceptable for these Guys. I am playing with a Kone XTD right now and it's a wonderful Mouse and really nice to control. But I already made that clear and don't have to repeat it thousand times I guess. ^^

Bragging rights over what lol ?

Most people don't know what dpi is and please explain how you can even utilize a dpi that fast ?
