Also, how come WASDKeyboard doesn't have any colored WASD keycaps on their website when they have a ton of their eBay page? thinking.gif

http://www.ebay.com/sch/wasd_keyboards/m.html

edit:

Never mind, they actually sell them on their main website. You have to configure the color of choice when you check out. Stupid me!

As you can see the keycaps are very similar. tongue.gif

From what I know PBT is a more durable plastic than ABS so it won't be worn as quickly as ABS.

I'm pretty sure those Ninjas are lasered and uncoated.

At least that is what my Filco Camo keys are.

The Filco Majestouch 2 should be UV/Hardcoated and padprinted.

At least that is what mine is.

This info used to be all in my GeekWhack Key Reference wiki before those morons deleted it.

They do, but the options are dotted around the site:

  • Go here for full keyboard sets where you only want to customise the colour and a few other options.
  • Go here if you want to buy specific keycaps from different parts of the board
  • Go here if you want to fully customise the text, font, colour etc of each key, you will need to select "Keycaps Only" under "Product Type" to just buy the keycaps and not the entire board.

I found it, thanks! What's the difference between laser etched and engraved? Engraved meaning that it the text will not fade as fast? They both cost the same.

The laser etched keys have a laser applied to them which discolours the plastic and shows the letter, the engraved counterparts simply have the text cut into them (not sure what tool is used), this means that the engraved lettering is harder to see as evident from the picture above.

I actually got some and fitted them today. I ordered from their eBay store as they had a lot of choice. Here's a picture of the end result.
