There is no way your card is going to be damaged with a driver install, only time something like that can happen is you physically damaging it. And the Warcats are shining very much in BF2142.

Thank You, I was thinking the same thing way.
It was just the wording with the download for the Vista drivers that made me hisatate.
After I run these WC6.11's I will install the Vista WCats just to see how it goes.
One fellow says OGL is not supported in the Vista WC's.

There is a definate difference.
Both scores were attained using the same PC, same VC and NO OC'ng of any kind for both tests.
I only wish I could publish the scores so I could give ya a link for you to see yourself.
The X1950 cards are not recognized by the sofware as to be able to publish the scores.
I just downloaded Vista WarCat's and am waiting on someone to install these with a late ATI card.
I just need to know if the card will be damaged in any way.
Something doesnt sound right with those numbers. I don't think there would be that much of a disparity between the drivers with 3DMark, espcially since the numbers were relatively close for me. Course you're using 1950s and not 1900s. That may have something to do with it.

I'm an ATI fanboy, not a driver fanboy. I want the best performance I can get. For me, thus far, its ATI.
