Interesting, so just your downclock increments and downclock temp changed. I would think there would be a way to modify the BIOS and change that stuff

What settings did you change and what program did you flash the firmware with and was this with version 0.6 or a older version.
Also if you can please upload a copy of the modified firmware so I can take a look at it.

yep followed the steps to a T flashed everything seemed good rebooted and brick cards wont show up anywhere ive been trying for hours nvflash from dos with selecting index you name it i tried it leaving only the strap sub vendor pin thing and im not that brave and the only thing i changed when modding the bios was voltage to 1.85 i think it is and max clock + 13 like i said it all seemed to go fine till reboot tried an old 210 i had laying around to boot off of and reflash the 680 s but no luck

I would really like to take a look at the firmware, the original and the modified version. edited : ok got the modded one can I see the original so I can compare them.

It says if old checksum does not equal fixed checksum, don't use the firmware. It does, but there's also new checksum which is different. Is that ok? Is it supposed to be different?
