Age of Empires III is on sale for $10. Is it worth it? Or Sid Meier's Civilization V for $7.50 instead?

You guys will love FC3. It was awesome!

So far Max Payne 3 and Hotline Miami have been pretty fun.

There were both fun for a few hours but simply got boring after that. They also lack the polish of other multi-player titles that are even free on Steam. What makes it an even more bitter purchase is the fact that I have tons of stuff to play already. So, note to self, I won't be buying anything unless I clear up some of my backlog, the game must be on my wishlist before the purchase is made and it can't cost more than $5.

Yep, that's how I roll, now. I've actually spent more than I thought, though.

CS:GO - $7.49
Prince of Persia Complete - $12.24
THPS HD Complete - $7.48

Almost $30 tongue.gif. I broke my rule even on CS:GO and THPS HD Complete. CS:GO will definitely get played. With me having nearly 1300 hours in CS:S, I think it's a safe assumption CS:GO is going to see the same love...hopefully. THPS HD was for pure nostalgia. I'm considering pretty much anything under $5 now. I want The Witcher 2, but at $7.49....meh tongue.gif.

I'm actually curious about this as well. I'm trying to convince my friend to get a CoD on PC, and I would rather it be 4. I have a physical copy of the game, so a good answer to your question would convince me to install it again.

FC3 25% off. Exactly what I thought it'd be.
@CRIZ you could get Orcs Must Die if that kinda game interests you.

I thought that was strange, too. wth.gif

I've only bought Just Cause 2 this holiday, and it wasn't even on Steam, it was $3.74 on Amazon (it works with Steam though).

I don't know, there are so many games I want to buy, especially some "indies" (Hotline Miami, To The Moon, Mark of The Ninja, etc), but I think those games are not worth more than $5.

Plus I'm saving for a CPU - Mobo upgrade, and that has been holding me back this year.

I still have hopes on Far Cry 3 being below $30, it's the only game I care about now.

Yeah, my backlog of games is another reason I can't justify an upgrade....unless CS:GO wants to give me problems. CS:S is probably the reason I have such a huge backlog.

It's a fantastic game, an absolute steal at the price that day on Amazon. Made me want to replay it.

For those who don't have GTA 4, and are bored this holiday.. buy that pack. It's extremely worth it, and GTA 4 is endless fun.

Just bought it, but there was something weird, Brazil and some latin american countries were showing the GTA IV and liberty episodes pack for 5.61 in steam, but in browser shows as 7.49, BOTH in US. Which makes no damn sense. I don't even think Steam accepts credit cards from 3rd world countries.
