Skyrim is a fair game to test, AMD should have pulled up their socks in that game by now. But the 7970 isn't terrible in it either.
I don't understand why they put a Game that heavily favors Nvidia Cards like BL2 in here, they should put Dirt Showdown if they want to play that game.

people always expect weird stuff ,,,,they did a test with a selection of the best recent games
dirt showdown is a crappy game ... we can survive without a test of this title

I watched the first video that doesn't show which is which, and I can't even see a difference between the two. Chalk it up to bad eyes, or whatever you want, but they both look the same to me.

You want to see microstutter? Go play Darksiders, the first one, and hex edit the option to force 1440P resolution. OMG!!!! The game has a seizure every now and again.

Yes, it's a shame they have never fixed it, the fact that I had to play the first one on my 360 still angers me

Damn. Yeah I really wish I couldn't tell the difference, but I can. I'm all too sensitive to microstutter. I envy those who aren't. Ever since I started watching these side-by-side's as of late, it's obvious.

There's nothing wrong with not seeing it or not minding it though. Quite the opposite actually redface.gif

I can slightly tell the difference, and I notice when I game on my 7970 but honestly it doesn't bother me enough to go nvidia. It's not nearly as bad of a stutter as if you are xfired.

1. Set Vsync to always on
2. Set Vsync tweak to Dynamic
3. ?????
4. Profit.

Yet more evidence being thrown in the face of AMD fans, so instead they try and bring up IQ? lachen.gif

Wow, I actually played skyrim on all of my 7870's I had, and my 660ti and I can definitely tell the difference. Micro stutter got bad at times.

Let's be fair though. It was only one person. And not many people really seemed to back him up. So, yeah it was a poor attempt at avoiding the main topic, but it wasn't every AMD owner smile.gif
