There are plenty of substances that will melt the fat right off you, however the side effects are intolerable or even deadly.

Dinitrophenol is one of those

If they're gaining strength and size then they're bulking. They're not going to lose any BF% unless they cut. This should be pretty common knowledge among amateur bodybuilders...

I wouldn't say misc.... most people there are non-lifters.

True, but it would be loads funnier. But the nutrition section would defiantly set them strait. Broscience ITT

The neat thing about science is that it's generally valid whether or not you believe it is. The causal link between food digestion and gut flora has been solidly established for quite some time. It's a fact they help you digest food and produce valuable nutrients you would otherwise not get if you didn't have any bacteria. That said, you can't ultimately put the blame on them for obesity, since they can't create nutrients out of thin air.

They don't have to create nutrients, rather they can starve the person of certain nutrients causing obesity. Your body goes into preservation mode, so to speak, causing you to gain weight. It's a well established idea that malnutrition can either cause weight gain or weight loss, I'm guessing this would link the bacteria to weight gain via malnutrition.

When I practice IF, I feel alert, and light in the mornings. If I don't feel like lunch, I don't have it. If I do eat in the morning, I'm almost always hungry a few hours later, and the urge to eat is hard to ignore. Practicing IF gets your body comfortable with having an empty stomach(not to be confused with starving yourself, or feeling hungry all the time), and makes you a more efficient fat burner.

Basically when you eat one big meal a day, your body can't use that much food when you actually eat it, so it stores most of it away. Then your metabolism slows down, so it can slowly use that stored food throughout the day and not run out of energy.
It's best to eat a bunch of small healthy meals. That gives you just enough energy until your next meal, keeps your metabolism high, and you won't have to store away any excess food as fat.

Complete broscience.

As for the article I can see this being yet another excuse for fat people. Calories in calories out.

Im 6'2 Ive just lost 70lbs. 253 to 185, around 12% now. Its calories in vs calories out for sure. Track them and youre golden. Hell you dont even have to exersize if you dont want to.. just expect slower results. 500 cal deficit a day = 2lbs of weight loss a week. It worked for me. and all i do is study and play games. Admittedly i went for power walks and occasionally lifted weights but i got over that fast. Lost my last 10lbs by just eating under maintenance. I dont believe this bacteria crap. Science or not.. likes its been said.. its just another excuse for fatties to try and validate poor choices.
