Help overclocking my ram? :)

Thread Starter
Hello there.

I have a crappy set of kingston hyperX 1333 9-9-9-24-2T's, and i've currently got them clocked at 1866-10-10-10-24-2T

I cannot get the timings any lower at 1866, should i try for 2133 with loose timings? also, for some reason no matter what i do my ram will not do 1T frown.gif

Can anyone offer some advice please? thumb.gif

If you have to run timings so loose for DDR3-1866, chances are you won't hit DDR3-2133.

I'm not sure which ICs your kit uses, but I've seen a lot of 1333/1600 HyperX use low-binned Micron D9PFJ chips.
Try higher voltage (say, 1.70-1.75) to see if it allows timings to go down at DDR3-1866.
