First results of an RD600 motherboard! - Page 2

Don't people realize that it is an E6700 pretty much maxed out on air?

The cpu is maxed, not necessarily the chipset.

The rd600 chipset may still have alot to prove.

A while ago over on XS, One Page Book worked with Team Group to make a special edition for XS members, a very limited run of extremely high-end memory, and allowed the buyers to specify exactly what the memory would identify as. I believe that's where this came from.

Interesting, but this thread is about the RD600, which is ATI's motherboard chipset, not the R600, ATI's DX10 GPU. If anything, you should post a new thread about that

On the 680i boards, you can run the ram unlinked from the cpu FSB as well thus making them independant, not a new thing.

This guy isn't touching it's limits in the least. It's been tested before at 450 FSB first try.

I'll laugh if it hits 600 FSB.
