What about the Logitech G9X, its right handed, but it seems like you can use it comfortably in your left hand

No you shouldn't get it. You know I got some righty Mice like a Roccat Kone XTD or a G400 also, which you could use with your left hand theoretical and practical, but it would be just not ideal to use it this way cause these Mice are constructed for Righties and there is nothing you can do about than accept it how it is.

Not to mention the G9X is a Lasermouse and even if I told you Guys what a Qualitymouse a Roccat Kone XTD is, I still have the Opinion, it's always better or you got always the real deal in your bag, if you trying to get used to a real non accel mouse, even you can play very good, even on a pro level with a ADNS 9500 or 9800 Lasermouse.

Hm I would say, your Top Choice in Terms of no prediction and no accel would be:

-Razer Deathadder left hand
-CM Storm Recon
-Zowie AM
-Intellimouse Optical 1.1 which are harder to get these days.

But you always should be informed about the Size of these Mice before buying it. Technically you know a lil bit about them now. ^^

The G300 is also ,really really small with a Sensor that has Jitterproblems from what I have read in forums and it has prediction if you wanna deal with that.

Personally I never bought the G300, cause it wasn't worth it for me personally and Logitech could have a done a really much better Job with a real optical ambidextrous Mouse in 2011.

I don't like the Size of the G300, the Buttonlayout and the Sensor isn't the best optical Choice also.

I always imagine a ambidextrous Mouse from Logitech with G400 like thumbside- and rounded ergonomics, the big size, its switches and sensor.

Would be pretty nice. ^^

edit: I would say if you like it bigger, with a solid Quality, nice Switches, Contruction and a clean tracking Beast take the Deathadder and take enough time to get used to it. But that you would have to do with every other Mouse you buy also. ^^

If smaller than the Recon.

Don't know if a Zowie AM is your Taste in Terms of its hard Huano Switches.

Not to mention, the Size and ergonomic of the Zowie AM is a lil bit strange in some Aspects for a big mens hand. ^^

But me fool bought already four of them in my life. XD

And now have a nice Day and happy Christmas, also to the others Guys here around. smile.gif

I got the Recon and it's totally ok, but not better than the Deathadder. It's also smaller in length, but for most Guys important accel and prediction free.
The Recon has Omronswitches, from the Main, to the Sidebuttons and the Mousewheel and Mousewheelbuttons around. Really Omrons on every single Button.
It's ok and for me it's especially nice to claw in first Line because it's small in length, but I would have to spend alot time for the perfect control. My aim with the Recon as I had it pluged in two days ago with the Clawgrip was excellent.
Only my Shotcontrol wasn't. ^^

90 degree Omron d2fc do not exist. Besides, not a very cost effective decision.  So no, doubt it :)

In terms of Left hand play, I've been using the left hand DA on and off since I switched orientation. Certainly the most comfortable of the bunch. Always seem to go back to it.

Very accurate too.

Edit: I played with a G300 for a little bit.  Tracking/cursor quality wasn't my cup of tea. Very limited hardware.

Just wanted to add to this, I have been using the Left Handed Death Adder for about 8 months and I love it ....

I have had no problem with it and with programming the 2 side buttons it helps me in a few game that I am playing .....

I give the mouse 3.5 out of 4 stars!

There are a lot of great ambidextrous mice. I am right handed myself and prefer these mice both because of their comfort and because the even balance of the weight in the mouse just feels better to me.

You were asking for the "best" but that is rather subjective. Even among ambidextrous mice there are differences is shape. On top of that, different people may be looking for different things. Some want high DPI (dont ask me why, past 2000), some may want to have more buttons, and some may just want the most reliable and accurate sensor they can get. I tend to be one of the latter, and as a result gravitate towards simple optical mice.

Some options I would then look at would be the Zowie mice (I have the Zowie AM), Microsoft WMO, etc. Also worth looking at but less interesting for me because of the sensor are the Steelseries mice. Steelseries offer a lot of mice with an ambidextrous shape. The Sensei Raw looks awesome, if only they would have went with a different sensor. The sensor is still really decent though, if you use it on the right surface. I just always have a hard time justifying buying such an expensive mouse but then have a less than perfect sensor. I mean, is that not the whole point of getting a mouse like that?
