HELP! Xbox Original Port to USB

i tried googling this and found nothing, but someone once told me that the controller ports ( http://www.llamma.com/xbox/Mods/images/xbox_c17.jpg ) are based on USB, i was wondering if anyone knew how to and could help me wire this onto the internal USB header for the motherboard?

Sorry for the late reply. The yellow is unneeded for a usb connecton so don't worry about it, just solder up the others.

what im wanting to do is use the original xbox port and wire it to the usb HEADER that plugs into the motherboard, this is for my xbox computer conversion project i am currently doing

Well you could use something like this:

Cut one end off then follow the pinout I posted before and this pinout:



Solder like wires together and insulate them with heat shrink or electrical tape.
