Bought computer with 8GB ram overclocked/manually set in bios and want to upgrade!?

Hope you all are enjoying the holiday's!

So I bought a computer prebuilt with 8GB of DDR3 1600 ram for an Intel i7 3770k processor. I know the ram is slightly overclocked in the bios (including timings manually added and DRAM Power Thermal Control set @ 110). See pictures in link below.

However, I have no idea how to change the bios information now to properly reflect the new (32GB) ram I want to install. I desperately need help to figure out what to change or remove? I also don't want to overclock the new ram, but simply just want to install it at default speeds, and change the bios settings accordingly.

My current BIOS settings whsich reflect the 8GB of ram currently in my computer:

The new 32GB of ram I purchased that I would like to install (original 8GB will be completely removed from system):

Please help! Thank you. smile.gif

P.S. Is everything supposed to be changed in the BIOS before or after inserting the new ram?

I would reset everything back to default after writing down any settings that have been changed related to the cpu, then after installing the new ram, set the cpu values back and do whatever you want to with the ram timings.

That seems a lot more tedious (to reset everything) than just looking for the ram settings and only changing those options?

Regardless, when am I supposed to actually change the BIOS settings... after I put in the new ram or before? Do I take out the old one's first and then change the bios settings?

Don't want to kill these new sticks before they even boot up the operating system. weirdsmiley.gif

I would change them before, set just the ram settings back to default, save, then power down and pop in the new ones
