I replaced my cheapo Casecom TV rig's case with this RV04, but there are a couple of things that I am not please with:-
1) I don't get the purpose of the front door, it just seems to make things more awkward when carrying it and as I have it up against a wall I have to move the rig every-time I put in a Blu Ray disk, in fact why have a front door?
2) The drive cage though padded is noisey, as the disk-head movements resonate through the whole case, why didn't Silverstone employ the same hot-swappable drive cage as the RV02B-EW, as I do not hear any disk activity at all on that case even though I have it fully loaded.

I will be keeping the PATA drives until they fail then upgrade them to SATA and move all of my content off my main rig to this one.
My intentions are to move the GTX680's I have in my main rig into this one when Maxwell comes out as I cannot game at 4K UHD in Crysis at the moment.
Bearing in mind that I am hoping Maxwell-SLI GPU's will be able run Crysis acceptably at 4K.

I've had a RV02-E for a few years now, and recently bought a h100i without researching first.

Turns out it doesn't easily fit.

Anyone have some experience with fitting it in some way or another? I could kinda half-screw it in on top of the bottom fans with the radiator mounts, but then the other half won't be attached to anythign unless I glue it on.

You could try creating/fabbing your own radiator mount, that is, if you're confident with your building skills and you have the necessary materials. Me? I decided to drop my H100 and am using stock ATM. Looking for a good deal to get an air cooler [maybe a D14 or a Phanteks].

Anyway, here's what my rig looks like ATM:

I'm thinking about getting a RV03 case for my next build in a few months and I was wondering if I should get a reference GTX 780 or an ASUS one because of the heat-pipes might have an issue being mounted vertically? I also have another question, would the 2 bottom fans and the top intake fan be enough for cooling since it would just blow cool air in and out real quick? I plan on using the Noctua NH-D14 120mm & 140mm cpu cooler and I also plan on using these for the bottom intake if they fit http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835214046 (not sure if they will or not) and I would also be using a different fan for the top exhaust.

i have a rv03, i have not heard or read about any difference with vertical mounting and heat pipes. The bottom fans are intake, the top is actually exhaust, but with the heat rising the top fan does not run too fast. I actually liked the rv03 so much i could not get rid of it when i decide to custom water cool. I got a pedestal and put it underneath the RV03, the bottom case fansof the rv03 actually pull in enough air through the rad, that the rad fans don't turn on unless i am pushing the video cards or/and cpu.

on the contrary, yes there is difference. Ref blowers are suggested for vertical mounting. After market coolers can as well but but take note about the heat pipes.

I have ask service personnel from taiwan long time ago about orientation of the VGA coolers

As far as I remember these of coolers is not so efficient with vertical mounted vga

or this one

on the other hand, these types of coolers is good or ok for vertically mounted vga's cause air can pass through heat sinks

I have found out the the ref blower types is the best for vertically mounted. I have done some test with my R9 290 ref mounted vertically and horizontally and from my experience, they work best on vertically mounted especially when running more than 2 gpu's

I actually got the instructions for my case out, it does suggest video cards that blow air out of the case, it actually is vague. It doesn't touch on heat pipe configuration issue.
