Sweet, well that's going on the list then, since the h100 is on a list of cooling kits that fit in the NZXT Phantom, I also found a video of someone using one of the XSPC kits in the case and I don't mind having to set it up, I plan on redoing the Newegg Exclusive Phantom after I get bored with it's default look, I plan on adding way more orange and possibly a full on custom paint job.

You should start a build log to showcase your work. Also, make sure you ask to get Rev 1.1 or higher with the UD3. This will give you load line calibration to prevent Vdroop under load.

No doubt! But like you said, for the price, that extra 0.8 degrees is not really worth it.

I will once I start getting some of the core parts, I'll either get the case or MOBO next, most likely the case as I can start to see what I have to work with and map out future modifications.

Hmm, wish Newegg listed what Rev. the board was I'll have to call and ask before I order, thanks for the warning!

I just got some for Christmas, OC'd it to 2133 11-11-11-28 1T with stock volts....
I got 2400MHz prime stable with 1.55v (2T,) but now I'm just try to get timings down, shooting for 2200 with 9-10 cas.

WOW, thats impressive! I want to buy some, not because I need it, but because I want to see first hand what all the buzz is about.

You go it! thumb.gif I forgot that you already had a PSU, sorry for suggesting one. You're going to have quite the system there once its all said and done.

No problem, I actually just received the Corsair HX750 in the mail today(got it $60+ off during a sale), gotta say I'm impressed so far the quality seems very good, I actually saw one review and the guy was pissed about all the extras they included. lol

Yup, that's what I'm going for my current CPU is an FX-4100 so this will be a nice step up.

That kit is rubbish these days, the pump is beyond average and a lot of people complain about noise from the pump.

One of the best kits you can get is this, the XSPC Raystorm D5 EX240

with this you get the raystorm, but you get the industrial D5 pump and compression fittings. Better kit hands down.....but cost $$$$$$ Also the addition of and EX rad instead of the RS.

What, about this one?

They are running a revised pump from XSPC.

As for the EX series, that's definitely too much for me.

Use the revised pump...that I cannot comment on..do a little search about it but include "Noise", "Grinding" or "Grinding Noise" in the search.

EDIT:

It's exactly the same pump but in a new package.
