Yep, in the real world it's extremely hard to tell the difference between AMD and Intel for gaming.

People who know the difference is unnoticeable in gaming and that the FX-8350 is faster for tasks such as compression, encryption, transcoding and rendering? I'm sick of this gaming = the world mentality a lot of OCN holds and pretends every enthusiast holds.
As mentioned, Microcenter isn't available to everyone; I can only get the FX-8350 for $219, an i5 3570k for $229 and the i7 3770k for $335.
