Best 8gb Memory for $40

Well, I have a Best Buy gift card and I figured I might as well use it. Any other good 8gb memory for around $40? Currently considering the Samsung 8gb.

Alright. How about the Corsair vengeance? How does it compare to the Samsung?

The Samsung sticks are known for their ridiculous overclockability and low temps due to the smaller process. In other words, go Samsung.

I would go with the Samsung kit. By default my motherboard set it to run 8-8-8 1.35v 1600 and I never noticed, until I opened CPUz a week later after isntalling it.
Since mine has been handling CL8 1600 at 1.35v, I would consider it to be some of the best if not the best RAM out there.

Even other companys such as Patriot are starting to follow the Samsung 30nm RAM by making their own models. I predict this as becoming the new standard for memory.

+1 for the Samsungs

These Vengeance most likely use ICs that have failed higher specs, i.e. these won't overclock too well.
