Movement is exactly like source in GO. Little slower based on different wep/velocity speeds, but the same none the less.
This is due to engine/netcode/framerate ballistics.

Not even close. Recoil on AK is much more present in comparison of the two versions.
CS1.6 is actually more random compared to CSGO's set spray.- see dmaster's post.
In terms of promod, I personally feel it's a bit too 1.6 biased. Not in the way it plays, but the subtle things.
They purposely removed hor+ scaling (16:9 and 16:10 now cut off vertically) and limited the crosshair to the same 3 (small, medium and large) sizes as 1.6.
I don't understand the point of promoting improved graphics when half the community is going to be playing on low resolution to compensate.
Seems very counterproductive from a developer standpoint. Should have just retextured, modified, and fixed the present bugs in 1.6. But alas 5-6 years (in dev) too late. They had the chance and blew it.
