Reverted To Stock, Help?

Thread Starter
I did some research on the ram i have, not much turned up.
This is what i have. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820141212

I also Have theese screenies. I'd really like to get to 2.7 on air. I think its possible since I idle at 30c and barely hit 38 under load. (i'm using the stock fan too).

Sorry my digital camera blows major chunks. My htt can go to 5x, i accidentally set it to 4 so its not true stock. Its more like, suck stock lol. Nonetheless the screenshots shouldn't really be affected except for the htt on cpuz and wcpuid. Right.. What I'd really like to ask, is how can i get all the data on my ram? Cpu-z gives me some pretty poor info. Is there a progie that will tell me what my bios wants? Then I'd like to start ocing. I also didn't see a way to set the ratio for the ram to fsb on my board, and the frequency is in wierd increments. 200/166/133/100. Nothing tweakable.

I'm also using windows xp l2 cache optimization via freshUI. I was wondering if i might need to turn that off.

You could start by reading up on that guide...it has all the tools to get started.
Even with what you call "Crap "ram an oc is achievable with a divider...

the 200/166/133/100 means that the ram divider would be set at 11/12/13/14 and it divides the CPU frequency not necessarily a ratio with the FSB

what else do you wan't to know about your ram?
Those increments, 200/166/133/100 are dividers. They work like this, if your FSB is set to 250 and you set your memory to run at 166 (166MHz) your memory will run at 207MHz (250 x 0.83). With generic type memory you will run it as close to stock settings as possible, with at or slightly above stock voltages. You really should take a look at this if you have not, Ultimate Overclocking Guide. It will help you to attain what you desire and answer most of your questions.

Your ram runs stock at 200ddr meaning double data rate which is why pc3200 is ddr 400....Running a divider will say....your cpu fsb is 225 then your ram is 450...with a 133 divider your ram is 300(299.25 to be exact.

~~edit~~ I'm seeing double...

ok, well actually I just wanted to know what to set everything to on the dram page in the bios. Featured in pic 2. When i said 200/166/133 ..etc, I'm talking about memclock index value(pic 2, 2nd thing in list). I have the premise of ocing the cpu, but It doesn't go much futher than that. I don't really know what i'm doing when it comes to the ram area. I want to set up a divider, and I drop index value to 166. System boots to black. Clear cmos, try again. Can someone give me a setup to try? I'll report back if it works.

EDIT :wow, disregard alot of that, I just refreshed and you guys had posted 3 things since then. lol.
